Hennessy AM is paying for himself

One of Sweden’s biggest stake-races for 3-year-old trotters, the E3-final at Romme was won by Hennessey AM, a son of Muscle Hill, who last year was sold in Harrisburg for $150,000 to Norwegian-based, Danish-born trainer Kim Petersen.

Although he was parked outside leading Vegan Face with Conrad Lugauer for most of the trip, Hennessy AM with Erik Adielsson in the bike won the race and the $110,000 winner’s share of the purse.

Hennessy Am, who is three-for-five for Peterson, won by half a length and was timed in 1.54.4f.

Last year, Hennesey AM was campaigned in the United States by Staffan Lind and was winless from nine races.

The filly division was won by longshot Globalizer – sired by Bold Eagle.  Globalizer, who was a 45-1 shot, had to start from the second tier and with post number 12 and came from behind to win in a new Swedish record of 1.54f.

She is trained by Jerry Riordan and had Stefan Persson the bike.  Globalizer earned $110,000 with the victory.
