HHYF offers harness racing educational programs

from the Harness Horse Youth Foundation

Sudlersville, MD — Do you have a group of young people who would like to learn about harness racing and Standardbreds? 4-H, FFA, scouts, Pony Club, riding stables, schools, or other horse-loving crowds?

Then the Harness Horse Youth Foundation has great news for 2019. The organization is exploring new venues for its award-winning programs and looking to expand the reach of its educational efforts. From open houses to day programs to camps, HHYF has a variety of formats developed and field-tested.

If you have interest in partnering with HHYF for 2019 for any type of event, please contact the HHYF office no later than Oct. 15, 2018 at 317.908.0029, or e-mail Ellen Taylor at ellen@hhyf.org. The hope is to have a master plan in place by late fall. Please share this information with other groups, clubs or organizations who might be interested.

The Harness Horse Youth Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing young people and their families educational opportunities with harness horses in order to foster the next generation of participants and fans. The Foundation has been making a difference in young people’s lives since 1976; its programs include interactive learning experiences with racehorses as well as offering scholarships and creating and distributing educational materials relating to harness racing.
