High hopes for French stallion Face Time Bourbon

There are high hopes for the 4-year-old French trotter Face Time Bourbon, and at a syndication just before Christmas 65 shares were sold for 80,000 Euro or approximately $91,000.

At the ongoing Prix d’Amerique sale a share was sold for 110,000 Euro or $125,000.

Face Time Bourbon, who is royally bred as a son of Ready Cash and out of Vita Bourbon, she by Love You, has raced 11 times and has nine wins and earnings of 352,100 Euro or $400,000.

Face Time Bourbon will make his debut in the breeding ranks this spring, as he will stand for 5,000 Euro for a booking fee and 15,000 Euro live foal. That is approximately a total of $22,500 live foal.

Face Time Bourbon will race Sunday (Jan. 27) at Vincennes on the under card, where he is favored to win the Prix Charles Tiercelin with Björn Goop in the bike.

Face Time Bourbon is trained by Sebastian Guarato, who also has top trotter Bold Eagle in his stable.
