Historic Sunday set for Clinton Raceway

Clinton, ON — The richest day in the history of Clinton Raceway is set for this Sunday afternoon (July 4) at 1:30 p.m.

“Everything has come together for this to be one of the greatest days in our track’s history. The weather forecast couldn’t be any better and it’s certain to be a great highlight of Clinton’s 40th anniversary season,” says Ian Fleming, the track’s General Manager and Racing Secretary. “The wealth of Ontario Sires Stakes 3-year-old filly trotters bringing in eight divisions and our richest annual single race, the Kin Pace for over C$57,000, is what made the purses just skyrocket to a record level for this program.”

The huge program is the crowning event on the Central Huron region’s Pluckinfest Weekend, in support of the charitable and compassionate projects of the Clinton Kinettes and Kinsmen Club. The Canadian Raptor Conservancy will also be presenting its Birds Of Prey show at 12:30 and 4:30 p.m.
