Dayton, OH — Hollywood Dayton drivers honored World War II veteran Leonard Schaffner who was celebrating his 98th birthday with a night at the races on Saturday (Oct. 13).

World War II veteran Leonard Schaffner was honored by the Hollywood Dayton driving colony.

Mr. Schaffner was thanked for his service and given a ride in the starting gate by starter Mike Woebkenberg.
