Home’n Dry and driver Tyler Davis parked Lagerfeld and 3-5 favorite Scirocco Rob past the quarter, but Scirocco Rob worked clear to cut fractions of :27.1, :55.3 and 1:24.2. Two breakers scattered the horses in the backfield and allowed the trio to draw clear of the rest of the competitors. Davis used his trotter racing first-up, wore down Scirocco Rob in deep stretch and won the race by a nose in 1:53.2. Scirocco Rob (Dexter Dunn) finished second, and Lagerfeld (Yannick Gingras) was third.

Home’n Dry is trained by Brian Malone for owner Peter Paul Venturini.

Wednesday night (Nov. 27) is the Hap Hansen Progress Pace, scheduled for the 12th race on the card. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
