Hoosier Classic Sale session one complete

Indianapolis, IN — The first session of the 2021 Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale is now complete. A total of 207 yearlings sold for a gross of $4.77 million, good for an average of $23,077, a more than seven percent increase over the first session in 2020.

Bourbon Courage, a You Know You Do half-brother to Hambletonian champion Captain Corey, topped the first session with a $255,000 bid, making him the highest-priced Indiana-sired yearling to ever sell at auction.
