Hoosier Park training hours adjusted

Anderson, IN Horsemen should be advised that the track training hours at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino have been adjusted on Tuesday, March 26 due to inclement weather in the central Indiana region. The track will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 and resume normal training hours of 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.

The annual night-time dress rehearsal program is still slated for Wednesday, March 27 and will begin at 5:30 p.m. The evening round of qualifiers will allow horsemen, racing officials, and racing fans to watch qualifiers under the lights prior to the opening night program. Qualifiers will continue to follow a Wednesday and Saturday schedule throughout the remainder of the meet, with an estimated start time of 10 a.m. Horsemen are advised that the condition sheets for the opening week of live racing are posted on Hoosier Park’s website.

Live racing will kick off on Tuesday, April 2 and will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 9. The 20th season of live Standardbred racing will offer 160 days of action. Following a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, the daily post time is 5:30 p.m. The $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational Pace, Hoosier Park’s signature Standardbred event, will take place on Saturday, May 25.
