Horse Lovers United to hold stallion breeding auction

from Horse Lovers United

Salisbury, MD — Horse Lovers United, Inc. is currently wrapping up details for their second annual Stallion Breeding Charity Auction, which takes place at Frank Chick’s Harness Horse Sale on Tuesday, March 16.

The location of this live auction is the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, Delaware. The horse sale begins at 12 noon and the benefit stallion auction will take place immediately after the sale of broodmares.

Heading this effort is HLU volunteer Heather Moffett, host and producer of the popular local harness racing television show, “Post Time.”

“Last year was a huge success,” said Moffett. “I am looking for this year to be even better. Horse Lovers United matches horses with loving families and we also provide care for the ones that are awaiting loving homes. It’s very expensive and some horses will be in our care forever, but they all deserve to live their lives out in dignity.”

Moffett has secured donations of breedings for more than a dozen well-known stallions.

The stallions from Delaware and their donators include:
Art Director from Jerry and Jan Kovach
Beach Romeo and By A Length from David Hamm
Brian P and Gamblers Dream from Wayne Givens
Cams Fortune from Ricky Pryor and Chuck Crissman
Don Boss Vita from Alvin Beiler
Headmaster from Frank Deliberti
No Spin Zone from Leigh Louthan
So Striking from Bobby and Diane Reeser
Veeza from Winbak Farms

The sale also includes one stallion from Pennsylvania:
Village Jolt from Jeff Snyder

And from New Jersey a breeding from:
Cam’s Card Shark from Jeff Snyder

Frank Chick has generously donated the venue and the services of his auction, making it possible for 100 percent of the winning bids to go directly to Horse Lovers United. Please contact Heather Moffett at 302.242.7024 or Lorraine Truitt at 410.749.3599 for more information on the sale and a complete pedigree on each stallion.
