Horses needed for Tim Fouts Memorial Race

Columbus, OH — The USTA and the Delaware County Fair are seeking 11 horses to race in the Tim Fouts Memorial Amateur Driving Championship race at the Delaware County Fair on Sunday, September 19.

Horses will be driven by driving champions from various amateur driving clubs throughout the United States.

The purse for the race is $4,400, divided 45-25-15-10-5%. Ten horses will race with an also eligible drawn in case of a scratch. The trainers of the horses that finish six through last, and the also eligible, if not raced, will receive $100. The also eligible horse must be on the grounds the morning of the race.

We are looking for horses that fit the class of $4,000-$5,000 pacing claimers. This is not a claiming event.
