Washington, PA — Hot Flash Kimmy rolled to her third straight victory, easily winning Wednesday’s (Jan. 3) Opening Day feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,500 Conditioned Trot.

Hot Flash Kimmy zipped to the lead from post two for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. The 4-year-old daughter of Lookslikeachpnle-Hortop Temper deflected the first-over challenge of Dover Gilde and kept the pocket-sitting Easy Rider at bay, defeating him by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:55.4. Dover Glide persevered for show.

Michael Burke trains Hot Flash Kimmy for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC. It was one of four wins for Wrenn — including a pair for Burke — on the 13-race Opening Day card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday (Jan. 4). The track’s winter schedule features live racing each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday through March, first post 12:45 p.m. each day.
