Yonkers, NY — Eleven 3-year-old fillies have been entered for the 2008 Hudson Filly Trot at Yonkers Raceway.

The total purse of the ’08 event is $364,694, with a pair of $20,000 elimination races set for this Friday night (races four and six on the 11-race card). The first four finishers in each elim return for the $324,694 final of the Hudson, set for Yonkers Trot Night, Saturday, June 28.

Pleaae be advised that the entry box for the 2008 Yonkers Trot closes on Tuesday, June 17, with elims (if necessary) scheduled for this Saturday night, June 21.

The fields for the eliminations of the Hudson Filly Trot, with declared drivers:

First elim (fourth race): 1-Flower Lane (Ray Schnittker); 2-Saqqara Dream (Jean Dubois); 3-Morgun’s Sweetheart (Driver TBA); 4-Smart Dream (Steve Smith); and 5-Lindy’s Heiress (Jeff Gregory).

Second elim (sixth race): 1-Creamy Mimi (Trond Smedshammer); 2-There’s A Way (Jim Morrill, Jr.); 3-Epangeline (Schnittker); 4-Along The Way (Mike Lachance); 5-Muscle Shirt (Gregory); and 6-Celebrity Tribute (Gregory also listed).

Yonkers’ five-night-per-week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday — all at 7:40 p.m. — and Saturday — 6:50 p.m.) schedule remains in effect. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule.
