Dover, DE – Ideal Lifestyle A set a lifetime mark in the Mares Open at Dover Downs on Wednesday night (March 11).

Moments Of Joy and Valuable Art left alertly, as expected and raced to the quarter in :27 flat. Tetrick confidently quarter-poled Ideal Lifestyle A from third seizing control of the race past the quarter. The half was reached in :55.3.

Dibaba N and Corey rushed up past the half and pressured Ideal Lifestyle A. They reached the three-quarters in 1:23.1 and paced the third quarter in :27.3. Moments of Joy sat in the pocket and Valuable Art remained third on the rail. Shezallapples A was gapping cover nearing the three quarter pole.

This allowed Moments Of Joy to ease of the rail and shadow Dibaba N for the stretch drive. Ideal Lifestyle A accelerated in the deep stretch and won by a convincing 1-1/2 lengths in 1:50.3. She was sent off at odds of 5-1.

Ideal Lifestyle A, is an 8-year-old mare by Western Ideal. She established a lifetime mark of 1:50.3 and is owned by Jeffrey Fought, Brian Carsey and Casey Myers. Jim King Jr. trains and Tim Tetrick with the driving assignment.

Dibaba N, the 7-5 race favorite, finished second for trainer Dylan Davis and driver Corey Callahan. Valuable Art rounded out the show spot for trainer Nick Callahan and driver Russell Foster.
