Lexington, KY — Several important dates are upcoming for The Red Mile’s 2014 racing season.

The barn area at the historic Lexington track will open on Monday (July 21). The first qualifiers will be hosted on Friday (July 25) and entries must be submitted by Thursday (July 24) by 10 a.m. The post time for the July 25 qualifiers will be determined later.

The first draw will occur on Thursday (July 31) for racing on Sunday (August 3) with the box closing at 10 a.m. The race office will be open on Tuesday (July 22).

Nominations for Grand Circuit Late Closers at the Red Mile are due by Sept. 15. Nomination forms can be located online at www.TheRedMile.com under the Racing tab on the front page.

Please note that all horsemen intending to race during the Grand Circuit meet must complete a stall application. The stall application form is also available on the website.
