Defiance, OH — Webb Stables of Defiance, Ohio, reports that the Ohio pacing stallion Indian Fever p,3,1:52.1f ($432,206) died Jan. 26, 2018, of natural causes at the age of 23.
The son of Nobleland Sam-Hey Lady was an Ohio Triple Crown winner in 1997, winning the State Fair Stake, the Ohio Breeders Championship and the Ohio Sire Stakes final.
His fastest and top earning foal was the mare Mighty Passion with a mark of 1:51.3 and earnings of $123,457.
He was bred by the former Palpac Stables of Ottawa, Ohio.
