Indianapolis, IN — Registrations for Standardbred mares which are going to reside in the state of Indiana for the 2012-2013 breeding season (for foals of 2013) are due August 1, 2012.

Mare owners who desire to have 2013 foals eligible as either Indiana Sired and Bred (ISB) or Indiana Bred (IB) must register their mare and have them reside in Indiana by August 1, 2012. All applications must be postmarked by August 1, 2012.

The Standardbred Breed Development Program offers three levels of eligibility in which a foal may fall under. Two of these categories, Indiana Sired and Bred (ISB) and Indiana Bred (IB), require that the mare of the foal be registered and reside in the state by August 1 prior to the year of foaling.
