Inittowinafortune held off Skippin’ By in the $48,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace.

Involved early from post position No. 6, Inittowinafortune left around the people’s preference, then went the distance (:27.2, :56.4, 1:25.2, 1:55.3). She prevailed by a neck, with Envious Hanover (Jason Bartlett) — last at the three-quarters — rallying for third. Carobbean Pacetry (Brent Holland) and Strings (Eric Carlson) rounded out the payees.

For Inittotinafortune, a 5-year-old daughter of Cam’s Fortune trained by Michael Russo for owner Michael Pagonas, it was her 11th win in 30 seasonal starts. The exacta paid $23, with the triple returning $316.
