Chantal Sutherland and Corey Callahan have already excelled in their fields; Sutherland a star United States jockey and Callahan the leading reinsman in the states this season. And joining them is Jonas Czernyson, one of the young guns of the training scene in North America.

Each of the three are Group 1 winners in their chosen field and are highly respected horse people.

Sutherland — also known for her work on TV in the documentary series Jockeys and drama show Luck — will be riding in the Monte race on the night, competing aboard the Chris Lang, Jr.-trained Lysenko.

Callahan will strut his stuff in the Drivers Invitation race when he takes the reins behind the Dean Braun-trained trotter Duke Of The Moment.

The third of the trio, Czernyson, will be observing the Australian trainers throughout the lead up and on the night itself as they prepare to peak their horses twice within three hours.

In addition to Great Southern Star night, the international ambassadors will be treated to a range of activities including a trip to an AFL Footy match, Healesville Sanctuary, the races, leading stud Aldebaran Park, trotting sales and a raft of media commitments.
