Laura, OH — “Many have expressed a desire to help with the racehorse adoption mission,” said Executive Director Dot Morgan. “Now, here’s a way to do it. New Vocations needs you to search your personal and/or business inventory for items that can be auctioned at our upcoming Little Brown Jug Party September 17.”

The sky is the limit on items for the auction. It can be as big as a horse trailer or as small as a piece of jewelry. Vacation, entertainment, and golf packages are always popular, as well as equine art, sports memorabilia, tack, and new merchandise. Stallion seasons are terrific. Equine and human services are appealing, too. Just about everybody can donate something. Use your imagination.

Can’t think of an item — then how about sponsoring a table in your name or that of a favorite horse? There will be 1,000 people at the event. Seating is open, but each table has a sign reflecting the sponsor’s name, business, or horse. It’s $400 to sponsor a table or $200 to co-sponsor. Invitations to this Jug Eve gala are issued to table sponsors and those donating items worth $200 or more.
