Items needed for Little Brown Jug charity auction

by Dot Morgan

Laura, OH — Once again, a charity auction will be held in conjunction with the Pre-Jug Party on September 19, the evening before the Little Brown Jug. A large variety of goods and services are needed for this event that benefits New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program and the Delaware Co. Agricultural Society.

Among the items already donated are a Marco Island Vacation, $2,000 in Embryo Transfer Services from Nandi Veterinary Associates, three pieces of original equine art, a live paint miniature horse, and several stallion seasons including Blissfull Hall, Tagliabue, Intrepid Seelster, and Million Dollar Cam.

“We seriously need help with this fundraiser from owners, breeders, racetracks, and those that benefit from racing,” said New Vocations Executive Director Dot Morgan. “Art, memorabilia, vacation packages, equine services, entertainment tickets, tack, and gift items are necessary to make this event a success. Table sponsorships are also needed and a good option in lieu of merchandise or services. I can’t emphasize enough, how much we need your help.”
