It’s all about beer this Saturday at the Meadowlands

East Rutherford, NJ — Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment has tons of action taking place both on and off the track Saturday (May 21).
Tickets are still available for the All About Beer Magazine’s World Beer Festival. The festival features more than 26 world-class breweries and cideries and a great Garden State Brewers Panel. Radio Nashville will have live music in the Backyard starting at 4:30 p.m.
Hours and Admission for Beer Festival:
VIP: 4:30-9:30 p.m.
General: 5:30-9:30 p.m.
$75 VIP Ticket: includes admission, VIP Lounge, special VIP food buffet, tasting glass, exclusive VIP tastings and one additional hour of sampling
$35 General Admission: includes admission, tasting glass, and four hour sampling
$45 for day of ticket purchase: includes admission, tasting glass and four hour sampling

Beer Fest attendees can watch and wager on the Preakness Stakes simulcast with 6:45 p.m. post time, as well as live harness racing beginning at 7:15 p.m.
In addition, starting at 6 p.m. college students can enter to win one of 10 $1,000 college scholarships sponsored by Jeff and Paula Gural’s Allerage Farm. Entrants must show a valid college ID at the Clubhouse Players Club Desk or Backyard Players Club Desk to enter plus receive a $5 free bet and free live racing program.
Saturday’s 12-race card is highlighted by the opening leg of the Graduate Series for 4-year-olds featuring Hambletonian winner Pinkman and the NJSS for 3-year-old pacers led by Dan Patch Award winning 2-year-old male Boston Red Rocks.

Saturday night’s (May 21) race card at The Meadowlands has a lot to offer. The first leg of the Graduate Series brings Grand Circuit 4-year-old trotters and pacers to town and the pacing side of the New Jersey Sire Stakes gets underway, featuring 2015’s top freshman Boston Red Rocks in his seasonal debut.
