Jack Vernon and driver Tim Tetrick pressured Elysium Lindy to three-quarters in 1:23.1, while Home’n Dry vacated the pocket in anticipation of a second-over trip behind Jack Vernon carrying him into the stretch.
With Home’n Dry breaking behind him at the top of the stretch, Jack Vernon disposed of a tiring Elysium Lindy and trotted clear to win by a length over Bluebird Jesse, who closed to be second. Faithfulandtrue rallied for the show spot.
