Campbellville, ON — Goodtimes winner Flanagan Memory made his sophomore Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Series debut at Mohawk Racetrack on Friday (June 28) and turned in his second straight victory over the Campbellville oval.

The Kadabra son and Chris Christoforou stopped the clock at 1:55, reeling in dueling leaders Gotta Secret and Buddy Hally in the final quarter and trotting off to the 2-3/4 length victory.

Later in the program Goodtimes runner-up Toocool Forschool delivered a commanding victory in his Gold Series leg, trotting under the wire eight lengths ahead of his peers. Mike Saftic engineered the 1:54 triumph for trainer Glenn Lalonde.

The other 3-year-old trotting colt division was captured by Kennel Buddy and Doug McNair.

Also making their provincial debut were the 2-year-old pacing colts and Jody Jamieson captured two divisions, steering Shadow Play sons Arthur Blue Chip (Shadow Play-Advantest) and Shadowbriand (Shadow Play-Roman Art) to victory in 1:53.4 and 1:54.4, respectively.

Christoforou earned his own driving double, crafting a 1:54 win for P L Hellcat (Mach Three-P L Angel) in the other freshman pacing colt division.

The 2-year-old pacing colts make their second start at Mohawk on July 8, while the 3-year-old trotting colts will be gearing up for the Mid-Summer Challenge at the Campbellville oval on August 10.
