Jamieson returns the admiration from those in attendance who witnessed his five-win evening.

Jamieson, who had eight drives on the 11-race program, started his evening strong by sweeping the ‘Early-Double’ with 2-year-old pacing filly Westbeach ($12.40) and 2-year-old trotting colt Trix And Stones ($3.30). The reinsman recorded the hat trick in the seventh race with 5-year-old trotting mare Major Muscle ($8.60).

Jamieson finished the night the way he started by winning his final two drives with 3-year-old pacers Dramatic Point ($9.80) and Westslucky Terror ($3.50).

The five-win night pushes Jamieson into sole possession of fifth in the Woodbine Mohawk Park driver standings with 91 wins. The Moffat, Ont. resident has more wins than any other Woodbine Mohawk Park driver over the last month, recording 32 wins since Aug. 16.

Jamieson now has 170 driving wins this season, which is just two less than his total of 172 for the entire 2017 season. He is scheduled to drive in six races on Friday’s 13-race card.

Post time Friday at Woodbine Mohawk Park is 7:10 p.m.
