Ft. Washington, MD — Jason Green posted five wins on Wednesday night (April 18) at Rosecroft Raceway.

Green won with Petrossian AS for owner Arty Foster and trainer Eric Foster. He then scored with Newton Said, who posted the first of two wins for owner-trainer Heidi Van Vliet; her other win cam with trotter Winston Hall, who backed up a bit in the final turn, but as they hit the straight away, he took off in the passing lane for his first career win.

Green hustled Hillbilly Jet to victory in her first win of the season for trainer Greg Trotto, Bob Bove, Jeff Livingston and Fred Sporrer. A beaten favorite in four of the last five starts, Hillbilly Jet went to the lead after the first quarter and coasted to a 1:56.3 win.

Green’s final win came with Brian Tomlinson’s Flash’s Fool, nipping Classic Mosee at the wire. Tomlinson had a training double as Timmy Offutt won the finale with Rodeo Blues.

Frank Milby posted three wins on the night. Rhapsody Rose won the opener as Milby left from post eight and grabbed the lead and survived an attack from a parked out Cedar Hall Heiress (Wayne Long) and held off a fast closing Shaker Rei (John Gazzerro) who finished second.

Milby won easily with Al Carter’s Princess Rusty for trainer Mike Hall and Fastest Girl Around for owner Gloria Kinnamon and trainer Jamie Vance.
