Dover, DE — Local driver Jason “Bugs” Thompson received an early Christmas present this year as he was named Rising Star by the Delaware Harness Horsemen’s organization.

Jason’s will to win and drive to work hard is starting to pay off. During the fall meet at Rosecroft Raceway in Maryland he won 16 races, garnered 20 second place finishes and 12 third place drives.

He continues to impress at Rosecroft and in Delaware as well. He grew up in a harness racing family from Delaware and at his young age is proving himself a winner.
