Yonkers, NY — Cantkeepmiasecret gave Jenn Bongiorno the 1,000th training win of her career by taking the seventh race on Thursday night (Sept. 22) at Yonkers Raceway.

The 4-year-old Cantab Hall mare took control nearing the :58.3 half for driver Jason Bartlett and held sway after that to prevail in 1:56.2. It was the second straight triumph at the oval for Cantkeepmiasecret after she dead-heated for top honors on Sept. 8.

Bongiorno, last year’s leading trainer at Yonkers, currently sits fourth in the standings this year. During her training career, her charges have earned over $17.3 million.

Yonkers Raceway is currently racing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with post time each night at 6:55 p.m. (Eastern).
