Freehold, NJ — For the second week in a row, a new horse is No. 1 in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.

Two-year-old female pacer JK She’salady moved into the top spot as last week’s No. 1, Father Patrick, slipped to third following his second-place finish to E L Titan in the Carl Erskine Trot.

JK She’salady, who was idle last week, received 15 first-place votes to lead a group of five horses getting at least one first-place nod.

Sebastian K, who was No. 1 for the first 23 weeks of the poll, moved to second place and garnered 10 first-place votes. He did not race last week.

Shake It Cerry, who won the Moni Maker Stakes, and Nuncio, who was idle, rounded out the top five.

Always B Miki, who won the Monument Circle, moved into the rankings at No. 9. Mission Brief dropped out of the Top 10.

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all divisional winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
