Saratoga Springs, NY — The Thursday night (June 28) program at Saratoga Casino and Raceway was bookended by driver Joe Bongiorno piloting Conor Flynn trainees.

T G Rev was a 2:00.1 winner on Thursday for Joe Bongiorno.

Young trotter T G Rev (Revenue S) made his local debut a winning one, breaking his maiden in wire-to-wire fashion in 2:00.1. Flynn co-owns T G Rev with Barbara Bongiorno, Joe’s mother.

Barbara Bongiorno’s Benzorama A (Panorama) took the evening’s finale behind a front running score of his own. The race’s 2-5 favorite held strong despite fast early fractions to prevail in 1:56.2 to record his second win of the season.

Joe Bongiorno has made an immediate impact in his first season in the sulky and in less than 40 drives, has already cracked the top 20 in the driver standings at Saratoga.
