Columbus, OH — John Sorrento, 78, a trainer/driver on the New York/New Jersey circuit, died March 19, 2013.

He began his career driving mostly at Roosevelt, Yonkers and Freehold.

Some of his horses were Koshi Tiger, Crimson Adios and Robbie’s Don.

Mr. Sorrento is survived by his wife, Tootsie; and three children.
