Joie De Vie winner Dream Together returns to Tioga on Friday

Nichols, NY — Dream Together (Rick Zeron) will lead a field of seven in the $40,000 leg four of The Miss Versatility at Tioga Downs on Friday (Sept. 7).

Dream Together won the Joie De Vie on Aug. 12 at Tioga Downs.

The last time Dream Together (Muscle Hill) raced at Tioga Downs it was in the $141,000 Joie De Vie. The race was promoted as the first match up between trotting heavyweights Hannelore Hanover and Ariana G. Owned by Determination and trained by Luc Blais, Dream Together charged late down the stretch and stole the show to win in 1:53.1.

The 4-year-old mare is the 5-2 morning line favorite on Friday.

Her toughest competition could be the second morning line choice, the Ake Svanstedt trained Ice Attraction (Simon Allard) at 7-2. Owned by Little E LLC, Ake Svanstedt Inc., Douglas Sipple, and Mal & Janet Burroughs, she won the third leg of the Miss Versatility at Tioga Downs on Aug. 19. The 4-year-old mare by Muscle Hill has 10 career victories.

The rest of the field includes Celebrity Ruth (Jim Meittinis) at 4-1, NF Happenstance (Jack Parker Jr.) at 9-2, and Caprice Hill (Mike Simons) is the fifth morning line choice at 5-1. The two longshots are Pink Pistol (Aaron Byron) at 8-1 and The Erm (Charlie Norris) at 10-1.

The 13-race card on Friday starts at 6:15 p.m.
