Join the New Vocations Breeders Crown pledge

from New Vocations

Delaware, OH — Trainers and owners have the opportunity to give back to Standardbreds that have retired from racing by joining the New Vocations Breeders Crown pledge.

New Vocations is a 501 (c) (3) charity that focuses on rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming horses leaving the track. Connections can pledge to donate a small percentage of their horse’s earnings in the upcoming Breeders Crown and Matron races to support New Vocations’ efforts.

“This is a great way for owners and trainers to help make a difference by giving back to the horses that are now done racing,” stated Standardbred Program Director Winnie Morgan Nemeth.

CC Racing, Mark Harder and Howard Taylor were the first to jump on board.

“Getting the word out and letting fans know that these Breeders Crown contenders are helping support the horses that have retired is another way to get people excited about this great night of racing,” added Morgan Nemeth.

To make a pledge, go to www.NewVocations.org/Events or contact Winnie Morgan Nemeth at winnie@horseadoption.com or 734.320.7918.
