Kathleen Bode (Coletta), 79, dies

Freehold, NJ — Kathleen Bode (Coletta), 79, of Freehold, N.J., died Feb. 18, 2016.

Kathleen, known to most as Kaye, lived on a farm for many years and loved horses. She bred and raced world-record holding horses for 40 years.

She was a pari-mutel clerk at Freehold Raceway for the past 30 years.

She also loved her family very much and never missed a bi-monthly family gathering.

She is survived by her six children, 17 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.
