Fraserville, ON — Kawartha Downs will celebrate its 42nd anniversary on Saturday (July 19) with higher purses for the night, the Billyjojimbob Memorial Trot and a t-shirt giveaway.

The race card will include 12 races with 25 percent higher purses than on a regular race card, free t-shirts to the first 500 customers and the C$12,500 Billyjojimbob Memorial Trot, celebrating the great trotter who began his career at Kawartha and went on to become the only Canadian horse to ever win the prestigious Elitlopp in Sweden, in addition to the Breeders Crown.
