Fraserville, ON — Kawartha Downs will open its 2016 harness racing season on May 28 and continue to offer live racing every Saturday night until Oct. 1 (with the exception of Sept. 17 when it hosts a NASCAR event). Post time every Saturday is 7 p.m.

The track will be open for training every Monday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting on April 25. The exception will be the weeks before and after the NASCAR event when training will be available on Sept. 12 and 13 and Sept. 21 and 22, respectively.

The first set of schooling races will be held on May 18 at 11 a.m. The second will be held following qualifying races on May 21 which begin at 11 a.m. Qualifying races will then be held every race night (except Oct. 1) at 4:30 p.m.

Schoolers will also be held June 1, 15 and 29, July 13 and 27, all at 11 a.m.
