Fraserville, ON — Kawartha Downs is pleased to announce that one ot the premier race callers in the world will be on hand to call the races this Saturday evening, August 28.

Meadowlands announcer and race anaylst Ken Warkentin will make the trek north as part of customer appreciation night — one of the biggest nights of the year on the schedule — which annually generates between 3,000-4,000 fans.

The feature races on the night will be the Ontario Sires Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies with five divisions carded.

The highlight of the night will be when one lucky patron will win an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas. Rolled back concession pricing, $1.00 programs, games and prizes will also be on tap, while the first 1,000 people will receive a special gift.
