Lexington, KY — The Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation (KHRGC) is accepting applications for a year-round, full-time presiding judge and mare inspector.
Duties include serving as the presiding judge at all Kentucky Standardbred events around the commonwealth, including Standardbred meets (currently three) and county fairs (currently seven). Additional duties include occasionally serving as a steward for flat races, both Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse, as well as inspecting resident mares for compliance with breeder incentive programs.

This position will be based at the KHRGC’s home office, in Lexington, Ky. Compensation will be based on experience and in the range of $85,000-$100,000 annually. KHRGC employees participate in the Kentucky Employees Retirement System and are eligible to participate in the Kentucky health, life and deferred compensation programs.
