Kentucky Senate passes Historical Horse Racing bill; to House Wednesday

Lexington, KY — The Kentucky State Senate voted to pass Senate Bill 120, the Historical Horse Racing bill, by a margin of 22-15 on Tuesday (Feb. 9).

The bill will now go to the House Chambers for a vote.

SB 120 has been assigned to the Kentucky House Standing Committee on Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations and posted for consideration on Wednesday (Feb. 10) at 8 a.m. The public may watch the committee meeting live on KET.

The Kentucky Harness Horsemen’s Association advises horsemen to reach out to Kentucky State Representatives and let them know to vote ‘yes’ on Senate Bill 120 for final passage to be sent and signed by Governor Beshear.
