East Rutherford, NJ — Scott Keppler and Newton “Yogi” Sheridan both prevailed as favorites swept Friday’s (June 14) pair of Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club (MADC) races at the Meadowlands.

In the first race on the card Keppler scored a come-from-behind victory with favorite Rollinwitdaponyzzz, who got up just in time to win in 1:56.3 as the pace broke down late. Keppler also owns the 6-year-old, which Danny Gill trains.

In the fourth race, Sheridan quarter-moved with favorite Muscle Factory A before drawing clear to win by just over two lengths in 1:52.2 over a downgraded sloppy track. The 9-year-old horse is co-owned by Sheridan along with Team Tritton Inc., and is trained by Shane Tritton.

The MADC will be back on Saturday night (June 15) at the Big M with first post scheduled for 6:20 p.m.
