Keystone Chaos repeats in Meadows co-feature

Washington, PA – Once a breaking horse took back and created a route off the cones for him, Keystone Chaos took full advantage, roaring past the leaders to score his second straight victory in Wednesday’s (May 12) co-feature at The Meadows, a $10,100 conditioned trot.

Marvalous song took Wednesday’s companion feature, a $10,100 Filly and Mare conditioned pace, for Chris Shaw, trainer Jason Shaw and owner Mason Shaw.

Keystone Chaos was shuffled to fifth into the final turn and pinned in, seemingly with no way out. But when Roger Rabbit jumped it off alongside him, Dan Charlino guided him outside and showed him racetrack. He scored in 1:56.1, half-length better than the first-over Just Like Magic, with Rebecca third.

Jim Daugherty trains Keystone Chaos, a 4-year-old Andover Hall-Keystone Cola gelding, for Michele Daugherty.

Dave Palone and Mike Wilder each collected a pair of wins on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday (May 13), first post 12:45 p.m.
