Lady’s Dude equals career best in Meadows $16,200 trot

Washington, PA – Lady’s Dude held off the late challenge of his stablemate, Perlucky, and scored in 1:52.1 — matching his career best — in Monday’s (Oct. 26) $16,200 Open Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Lady’s Dude quarter-poled to the top for Tony Hall and was unthreatened until Perlucky made his bid. But the 9-year-old Victory Sam-Lady’s Star gelding was strong through the wire, downing Perlucky by a head. Pass The Vape rallied for show.

Jim Pantaleano, Hall and Burke each enjoyed a three-bagger on the 13-race card.
