Last call for Driving School registration

Columbus, OH — Time is running out to sign up for the 2017 Standardbred Driving School. Held May 31-June 3 in Delaware, Ohio, the driving school immerses students in barn work in the morning and offers classroom sessions in the afternoons.

The 2017 Standardbred Driving School will be held from May 31-June 3.

Guest speakers such as Bob Boni, co-owner of 2016 Horse of the Year Always B Miki, leading trainer Brian Brown, leading driver Aaron Merriman, amateur drivers Joe Faraldo and Steve Oldford and more will be available for students to learn from and converse with throughout the school.

There will also be excursions to Sugar Valley Farms and Scioto Downs, lessons from a veterinarian and nutrition expert, as well as the administration of the driver exam for students who choose to take it.

The registration fee is $350.

Those who are interested can learn more at www.USTADrivingSchool.com and sign up in the USTA store. Registration will close around May 15.

Participants must be at least 16 years of age and provide their own transportation and lodging; most meals are furnished.
