Middlebury, IN — The Hoosier Classic Sale Company has announced a last call for yearlings for the third annual Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale at Springfield, Ohio.

Held in the Champions Center Expo on Sept. 26, the sale comes off a strong 2016 session which saw the highest priced Ohio sired yearling at auction.

“With many consignors still unsure of the status of their yearlings entered in the Ohio Select, we felt it necessary to extend our deadline beyond May 15 to accommodate those that may be looking for another venue,” said Steve Cross, manager of Hoosier Classic Sale Company. “We already have strong consignments from a number of leading Ohio farms and expect to see similar quality to that of the 2016 sale.”
