Laughandbehappy made it two straight in the White Ruffles Series with a 1:52.3 score on Thursday.

John Campbell was in the bike for trainer Tony Alagna as the 4-year-old Badlands Hanover-Zinful mare posted her second straight series score and her 14th win in 17 lifetime starts. She lifted her career bankroll to $34,199 with the victory.

Laughandbehappy took the field to the opening quarter in :28, then sat in the pocket as Jawjackin (Brian Sears) set the pace through middle splits of :56.1 and 1:24.1. Campbell tipped Laughandbehappy out on the final turn and they grabbed a 1-3/4 length lead at the top of the stretch. From there it was all Laughandbehappy as she cruised to the five length triumph over Auroring Doll (George Brennan), with Jawjackin finishing third.

The other three divisions of the White Ruffles Series were captured by John Stark, Jr.’s TC’s Delight (Bettor’s Delight-T C’s Ruler) in 1:55 with Brian Sears in the bike for trainer Stark; Fred Brayford’s Future Fire N (Courage Under Fire-Olivias Next) in 1:54.2 for driver Mark Lewis and trainer Kelvin Harrison; and Baron Racing Stable’s Balasun (The Panderosa-Armbro Tea) in 1:54.4 for driver Sears and trainer Sherif Cunmulaj.
