Columbus, OH — Subsidies for racetrack purses in New Jersey were included inside the tourism district legislation and other bills that cleared a state Assembly committee on Thursday (Dec. 9).

According to a story on www.courierpostonline.com, the bills call for $15 million from the casinos to pass through the state Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and would go toward 2011 purses.
