Amid a day filled with Halloween events as part of the inaugural Halloween Bash at the Spa, Miss Imprint won the $8,000 second race feature, credited as the Happy Halloween Trot.

Billy Dobson and the Levine student were parked to the quarter in :28.1 before assuming control along the pylons and the pair never looked back as they set two more panels in :58 and 1:27.3. Down the lane, Mommas A Diva (Wally Hennessey) posed the greatest threat to the 3-year-old filly, but Miss Imprint dug in to win by a head in 1:59.1. Lotto Hill (Alek Chartrand) rounded out the top three.

Levine owns Miss Imprint as she earned her seventh career triumph. She returned a $9.40 win ticket from 7-2 odds.

Dobson piloted Levine’s two other victories including a 1-1/2 length triumph in 1:56.4 with Yucatan Party Man ($3.60) and a win by a head in 1:58.3 with Michelle Hanover ($17.20).

Bluffiner ($17.00) and Jordan Derue took the $16,050 Winners Over/Open Handicap Trot by a length in 1:57.3. Derue trains the 6-year-old Credit Winner gelding, who he co-owns with Fbp Racing Stable.

With over 300 guests in attendance and $351,891 pushed through the windows, the first annual Halloween Bash that featured trick or treating, costume contests, and more was a success for the horsemen and women at the Saratoga Springs oval in partnership with the Saratoga Harness Horseperson’s Association and the Saratoga Casino Hotel.

Racing at Saratoga Casino Hotel resumes on Monday (Oct. 23) with a 12 p.m. first post.
