Jackson, MI — Linda Lee Jones of Jackson, Mich., passed away on Tuesday (Sept. 3) at the age of 74.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry E. Jones, as well as her father, James E. Bell. She is survived by her children, Tamra Jones and David (Kari) Jones; grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Neely, Danny (Codie) Neely, Tiffany Jones, Kortney Jones and Karly Jones; great-grandchildren, Devon, Ryleigh, Allyssa and Alexia; mother, Betty Bell; sisters, Sandra Bell, Debbie Bell and Jamme (Mark) Fater; as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends.

Linda was born in Jackson on April 4, 1945. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed trips to the casino and working the fair with her friends. She was a lifetime member of the Michigan Harness Horseman’s Association and the U.S. Trotting Association. She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.

A service honoring her life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Sept. 13 at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening (Sept. 12) from 5 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Jones will be laid to rest next to her husband at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
