Lockbox finds key to victory in Lightning Lane

Washington, PA — Lockbox found the key to victory in the Lightning Lane, pouring through to capture Friday’s (June 10) $16,000 Open Handicap Trot at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

Lockbox grabbed the early lead but yielded to the pocket when Perlucky challenged. When Ronnie Wrenn Jr. guided him inside in the lane, the 4-year-old Wishing Stone-Springaround gelding had all the trot and scored in 1:54. Barn Hall came off the cones to secure second, three-quarters of a length back, while Perlucky saved show.
