The son of Yankee Glide-Armbro Vanquish will look to capture his second $600,000 Breeders Crown after stopping the clock in 1:53.2 as a freshman last season.

The bay has made eight trips to the winner’s circle from 13 tries this season, but trainer Erv Miller says it has been a rollercoaster year for his sophomore trotter.

“His season has been really up and down,” Miller said. “He’s a tough horse for different racetracks to get him set for. We had a foot issue that we had to deal with earlier in the year, but since then he’s been really coming around.”

The $215,000 yearling purchase has stashed away $1,202,500 lifetime with $769,600 earned this year for owners Manofmanymissions Stable, Mystical Marker Farms LLC and M Biasuzzi Stable Inc.

WEG’s communications department recently spoke to Miller in Lexington. To view the interview on the Woodbine website, click here.
