Marcus Miller sweeps qualifying card at Philadelphia

Chester, PA — Marcus Miller won all four qualifying races held at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Tuesday morning (Dec. 14), continuing a rich form streak he has exhibited throughout December.

In the Tuesday qualifiers, Miller won the four races by a combined 72-3/4 lengths. Two of the winners came from father/trainer Erv Miller, the quicker of which was La Bella Vita N, a daughter of Changeover who won six races “Down Under” this year and continues to prepare for her North American debut, here with a 1:56.2 mile by 11-1/2 lengths.

Marcus Miller has won at least two races in each of the last six betting cards at Harrah’s Philadelphia, and his totals for that period are 74-16-13-8-.350. He ranks tied for ninth in sulky wins for the season at Philadelphia against a superb driving colony. Marcus has also won three times at Yonkers and two times at The Meadowlands in the last two weeks.
